PIGEON LAKE SANDBAR MELODY BAY FLOTILLA ARE YOU A BOATING ENTHUSIAST?
COME ON OUT…IT’S TIME TO “FLOAT YOUR BOAT”!
If you own a boat (or even if you wish you did) and would like to venture out for the day, feel free to join some of your neighbours at Melody Bay’s first ever FLOTILLA TO THE SANDBAR AT PIGEON LAKE! On Thursday, July 16th (rain date Thursday, July 23rd), we will be leaving from the Melody Bay docks at 10:00 am for what promises to be a great day on the water. Activities will include beach volleyball (for those with energy to burn), sunbathing and swimming, as well as a pot luck barbecue lunch and lots of social interaction. We plan to return to Melody Bay by about 3:00 pm. A sign-up sheet has been posted in the Lounge for this fun “getting to know you” activity. Please indicate whether or not you own a boat and, if so, how many passengers you can accommodate. Also, if you have a BBQ on board, please indicate so in the appropriate column. For those who would like to participate but who don’t own (or have access to) a boat, sign up anyway! We’ll arrange for your transportation to Pigeon Lake and back. The only cost is a voluntary nominal donation to your “Captain” of $10.00 per couple (or $5.00 per person) towards the gas to be used for this excursion and, of course, whatever you want to bring to eat and drink. Let’s get out on the water and have some fun!
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Paul Deveau at Lot #58 or Hélène Fee at Lot #68.
