From Jim Coulson
Thanks to Darrell Errey and Carole Rockburne for outlining Melody Bay cottage owner’s concerns regarding the proposed expansion of the park and canvassing for supportive signatures.
Our petition and two others were well received by council. Staff is to review concerns that were raised.
Thanks to everyone!
Good Afternoon Everyone,

Hello Ladies of Melody Bay!!
As our book club comes to a close again for another year, we thought we’d close off our book club’s season with a pot luck luncheon.
Since we started our season with a pot luck luncheon opened up to all the ladies of Melody Bay, we thought it would be nice to close our season with one as well.
SO…….if you’re at the lake and available on October 15th……ALL ladies of Melody Bay are cordially invited to a pot luck luncheon at 1 PM in the lounge at the clubhouse. We plan to enjoy each other’s company and the lunch first and then hold our last book club for the year. All are welcome to stay and join us if you’d like. We’ll be discussing the book Indian Horse by Richard Wagamese.
If you’re able to come that day please email either Gail Coulson (email@example.com) or Ginny Semple (firstname.lastname@example.org) and let them know you’re coming and what you plan to bring. Please also bring whatever you want to drink, glasses, cutlery and dishes.
If you have any questions please contact me, Sharon Denley at sharona.denley22@gmail .com
Hope to see lots of you on the 15th of October!!!

This is JJ. I’m working at Pioneer Point this season. The residents here use Steve Dobson from Dobson RV to close their units. His mom is also in this park. He is very reliable, good guy. The residents here use him year after year. He also does service to the units. I know that it is difficult getting a hold of Jason LeBlanc each year to do the close and opening of units at Melody. I asked Steve if you would be interested in work at Melody. He would love to!
Can you put the attached on your blog to give your readers another option?
I hope all is well at Melody. I miss everyone, say hello for me!
